Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know something I have been up to behind the scenes. Somewhere, between working my day job, traveling to awesome cities in Europe, hitting the gym, working on Vespyr, and hanging out with friends, I decided to start an ecommerce business. I did this for a lot reasons which I will cover in a later post.

Warning some explicit words.

My business is called Remotor Boater LLC. My target market is RC Boats. Man it feel good to have finally launched after these last few months. I plan to give you all in-depth look at the process I underwent to research, plan, launch, and soon to market my online store.

If you are interested in ecommerce sites, you should check out Andrew Youderian and Steve Chou. Those two were tantamount is this process for me.

Some of you probably fantasy football. I know I do. Guys from my college freshmen dorm have for the past five years now(holy shit it doesnt feel long ago) have ran a fantasy football league. I have never been all that successful with this, however I do enjoy the competitiveness and managing aspects of it. Should I start this Pierre Garcon or that Justin Blackmon? My tight end Rob Gronkowski is still hurt, what do I do? This guy has been underperforming, should I cut him? And everyone knows the bye week quarterback.

My grandmother just turned 90 years old two days ago and if you ever met this woman you would absolutely love her. My Ama, as we call her is such an interesting combination of things. I swear to you, five minutes in a room with this lady and she will know your life story and you will be best friends.

“9% of people try something,

1% are truly dedicated,

and 90% wish they were the 1%”

Guys I just wanted to relate a personal situation I witnessed while working at Airbus. So as most of you know, I have been interning in Hamburg, Germany for Boeing’s archnemesis. While working here I have made tons of great friends from all over Europe and experienced so many different cultures and traditions.

One thing that reins pretty much supreme, regardless of which European country my co-workers and fellow interns come from is a love or appreciation for football(soccer).

Anyone who has ever started a business, or endeavored to do something new and innovative knows that there are many roadbumps on the path to success. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I heard often enough that it will take atlease twice as long as you expect and cost twice what you budget. But being young and dumb and filled with hopes and passion, you don’t believe them. As my British friends would say, “I couldn’t be arsed to listen”

Did you know 35 million US kids, aged 5-18 participate in organized sports(source). This is phenomenal. According to 2011 Census Data, there were approximately 79 million children in this age bracket. Forty four percent participation by our youth. America and Americans as a whole need to encourage this. With the overwhelming problem of obesity in our country, sports are a healthy outlet which also encourage team work, leadership, and effort…all qualities of successful workers.
